Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Technical Manager for a remote position in Latin America to lead our agile team in implementing world-class software products. The role involves leading DevOps and SRE teams, managing migration to Kubernetes, providing technical guidance during service implementations, resolving critical cloud issues, and spearheading cloud and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with the technologies you’ve worked with
  • 5+ years of experience supporting applications, networks, and infrastructure in a Cloud environment (preferably Azure/GCP)
  • Proven leadership in Kubernetes adoption and utilization
  • Experience with core Cloud services such as VMs, Load Balancers, Functions, Scale sets, Azure Application Insights/NewRelic/Other telemetry platforms, API Management, Blob storage, Service Bus, etc
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design, security practices, and CI/CD methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage DevOps and SRE team
  • Mentor in cloud design, automation, and scaling practices
  • Manage migration to Kubernetes
  • Strategize deployments for scalability and security
  • Oversee monitoring and integration with CI/CD
  • Lead SaaS infrastructure support and efficiency
  • Drive automation and improvements in monitoring
  • Provide technical guidance during service implementations
  • Collaborate with providers, clients, and IT teams
  • Resolve critical cloud issues and conduct root cause analysis
  • Coordinate timely issue resolution and continuous assessment
  • Spearhead cloud and infrastructure projects
  • Active involvement in Linux, Microsoft, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in maintaining continuous integration and IAC environments, including multi-region failover and zero-downtime deployments
  • Experience in a retail environment (applications, POS, or network)
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud-native principles, best practices, and tooling
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and testing processes
