Summary

Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including working with core services (EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Strong Linux system administration skills (package management, networking, troubleshooting, performance tuning)
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools for IaC
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables)
- Experience implementing cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, including EC2, FSx, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, and related services
- Administer and optimize Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux) in cloud and hybrid environments
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, or similar) to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and deployment
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools; respond to incidents and ensure system uptime
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and security teams to enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and patch management
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect Associate or higher)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Comfortable working in collaborative, agile environments
