Join re:Members as a Cloud Engineer and be the primary point of contact for system support, leading initiatives for secure and high-performance cloud-based solutions. You will develop, implement, and manage automation scripts, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system security and implementing performance improvements. This role requires strong communication skills to interact with internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience with Azure and AWS, along with hands-on experience with various technologies and tools. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including strong knowledge of networking components such as VPC, DNS, and VPN, and familiarity with PCI compliance requirements
  • Hands on experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, iPaaS platforms, ETL processes, and working with HTTP methods, authentication protocols, and data formats such as JSON and XML
  • Skilled in application performance monitoring (APM), log aggregation solutions, and effective use of issue tracking tools like Jira to support efficient development and operations workflows
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation using Terraform, and experienced with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins, as well as version control systems such as Git
  • Eligible candidates reside in one of these states: DC, FL, ID, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary point of contact for system support needs, serving as the cloud technical resource to lead initiatives for adopting secure and high-performance cloud-based solutions, while troubleshooting and resolving performance, connectivity, and related issues
  • Develop, implement, and manage automation scripts, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure system security by implementing security best practices, as well as monitoring and supporting the troubleshooting of security incidents
  • Implement performance improvement and cost reduction of infrastructure, including capacity planning
  • Represent the team by skilled interactions with internal and external clients to inspire confidence, ensure transparency and manage overall expectations
