Summary
Join Trafilea, a dynamic Tech E-commerce Group, as a Cloud Engineer. Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with development, security, and data teams to ensure seamless deployment and high availability. Drive automation, security, and performance in our AWS-based infrastructure. Optimize cloud resources while following best practices. This role involves incident response, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing with other engineers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and access control in the cloud
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance
- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, caching, and other optimization techniques
- Implement robust security measures such as IAM best practices, network security policies, and encryption
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies
- Continuously monitor and improve cloud security posture
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability
- Identify and resolve cloud-related incidents such as infrastructure failures and performance bottlenecks
- Work with development teams to troubleshoot and improve system reliability
- Work closely with developers, security teams, and data engineers to align cloud solutions with business needs
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices
- Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on cloud best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) or container orchestration
- Knowledge of FinOps principles for cost optimization
- Experience working in high-scale environments with distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
