Summary

Join T-Rex Solutions as an Oracle DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the US Department of the Treasury's TCloud enterprise cloud development. This remote position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud solutions, ensuring secure and resilient environments. You will implement best practices, automate processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in cloud environments, including experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and Oracle Cloud services. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience
  • 9 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree
  • Must be U.S Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance to start
  • Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas
  • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
  • Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc.)
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • PowerShell or Bash Scripting
  • Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
  • Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles
  • Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts
  • Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments
  • Ensuring security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments
  • Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud certifications desired
  • Active Treasury clearance preferred
  • Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required
