Cloud Engineer

Summary

Join our client's NIS team as a talented Cloud Engineer and contribute to the seamless operation of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for deploying and administering cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform, focusing on Azure environments. Collaborate with our team to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions. Leverage your expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps practices to optimize our cloud infrastructure and enhance security measures. Our client specializes in innovative software solutions for public safety, transport, air traffic, maritime, and defense sectors, focusing on incident and crisis management. This is a 100% remote B2B contract based in Poland, with part-time or full-time options available.

Requirements

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Bash/Shell scripting)
• Experience with Windows Server (PowerShell)
• Proficiency in deploying and administering environments in Azure
• Familiarity with Ansible
• Strong DevOps knowledge, excluding Azure DevOps
• Understanding of security best practices and the ability to apply them manually or via IaC

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform
• Work closely with our team to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Azure environments
• Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps practices to optimize our cloud infrastructure and enhance security measures

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with Python
