Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Summary

Join Centric Software as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure and enhance service delivery for 600+ global customers. You will guide cloud engineering teams, foster innovation, and elevate service quality, supporting the execution of industry-disruptive product lifecycle management solutions. This critical role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, exceptional leadership, and a passion for customer experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Cloud Operations, you will design cloud-native solutions, collaborate with other architects, and drive architectural decisions focused on automation and cost reduction. You will also mentor teams and define long-term cloud strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Infrastructure Architecture, DevOps, or Cloud Ops within a software/services company
• Expertise in Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficient in configuration management using Ansible
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker (EKS, ECS)
• Strong architectural skills for designing and integrating Cloud Native solutions

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native solutions, migrations, and multi-region deployments (AWS/GCP)
• Collaborate with network, security, and application architects to deliver seamless, scalable architectures
• Drive architectural decisions with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
• Advocate new features to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Consult on hybrid connectivity and networking strategies for AWS onboarding
• Define long-term cloud strategies and enhancement roadmaps
• Mentor cloud engineering teams and maintain best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in language development, such as Python
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect
