Summary

Join Unit4's Global Cloud Infrastructure Team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and play a key role in supporting our commercial offerings. This position is fully remote within Portugal. You will work with a sophisticated infrastructure spanning Microsoft Azure and on-premises data centers globally. The role requires 5+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience and in-depth knowledge of Windows Server architecture and Active Directory. Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant IT infrastructure role
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Windows Server architecture and Active Directory
  • Have a strong background in Microsoft Azure and Software-Defined Infrastructure
  • Be proficient in PowerShell scripting
  • Be able to prioritize and work individually and as part of a team
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations
  • Have a passion for learning technologies and curiosity for new ideas
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills for working with external customers

Responsibilities

  • Support Unit4's commercial offerings
  • Work with a sophisticated infrastructure spanning Microsoft Azure and on-premises data centers globally
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve challenging situations
  • Work outside of office hours and provide weekend on-call support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold Microsoft certifications
  • Have experience automating Windows environments using PowerShell or similar tools
  • Be familiar with networking (VPN setups), file transfer servers, Microsoft SQL, and PKI infrastructure
  • Have basic Linux knowledge
  • Have exposure to multiple cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP)
