Cloud Ops Engineer

Responsibilities include automating cloud operations, supporting CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with various teams, performing incident response, and optimizing AWS usage. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of experience in CloudOps or DevOps, proven AWS experience, and expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or similar roles
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
• Good understanding of cloud security best practices and networking
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure within AWS
• Implement and support cloud-based solutions for scalability, security, and performance
• Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform , CloudFormation )
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools
• Collaborate with developers, security, and IT teams to streamline cloud operations
• Perform incident response and root cause analysis
• Optimize AWS usage and cost management

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CodePipeline
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools
• Experience in cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure
