Cloud Platform Engineer

Summary

Join High Tech Genesis as a Wind River Cloud Platform Engineer to design, develop, and automate edge deployment infrastructure for edge computing and 5G networks. This role centers on efficient deployment and management of NFV resources, demanding expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, and the Wind River Cloud Platform. You will lead the design and development of Wind River Controller and compute deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, build automation playbooks, ensure adherence to best practices, and troubleshoot technical issues. The position requires proven experience deploying Wind River Cloud Platform for Open RAN and edge network functions, along with demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, networking, and security. The ideal candidate will possess strong scripting, communication, and software development skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying Windriver Cloud Platform for Open RAN (DU/CU) and Edge Network Functions
• Demonstrated experience working with cloud architecture, networking, and security

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Wind River Controller and compute deployment for Open RAN (DU) and Core NF’s
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality products
• Build the Automations i.e playbook for the Continuous Deployment
• Ensure the automations adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, for playbook
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps)
• Knowledge of Windriver Analytics
