Cloud Platform Engineer

Summary

Join League's Cloud Platform Team and help manage, monitor, and improve our cloud infrastructure. You will design, build, and run distributed, fault-tolerant systems, enhancing availability, security, and scalability. This role involves automating manual work and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Requirements

• Experience programming in one or more of the following: Shell, Python, Go
• Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP/AWS/Azure
• Experience with configuration management/infrastructure as code tools like: terraform, ansible, puppet, etc
• Experience working with Git/Github
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals: filesystems, networking
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting systems
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL Databases
• Experience with container orchestration systems

Responsibilities

• Help manage, monitor and improve existing infrastructure and related tools
• Support release processes
• Work to enhance the availability, security and scalability of the platform and its services
• Automate manual work
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
• Compliance with Information Security Policies
• Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
• Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
• Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
