Summary
Join Kaizo, a fast-growing SaaS company, and become a pivotal member of our cloud infrastructure team. We're building a performance development platform leveraging gamification and AI, and our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing Kubernetes clusters handling 200+ million events daily. You will design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, manage and optimize GCP services, build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and collaborate with development teams. You'll also monitor system performance, implement observability solutions, and ensure high availability. This role requires a strong background in GCP, Kubernetes, and related technologies, along with experience in building and maintaining secure and scalable cloud environments. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud infrastructure management
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker containerization, and orchestration at scale
- Experience managing and scaling Kafka clusters, Elasticsearch deployments, and MongoDB instances in production environments
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (New relic, Logging, APM solutions)
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cost optimization in cloud environments
- Experience working within cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and DevOps engineers
- BS/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced startup environment
- Managing and optimizing GCP services
- Building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Github actions
- Working with development teams to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
- Monitoring system performance, implementing observability solutions, and ensuring high availability across all services
- Analyzing infrastructure needs, suggesting improvements to our cloud architecture with freedom to implement innovative solutions
- Implementing and maintaining security best practices to ensure a secure and protected cloud environment, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance frameworks
