Summary

Join Tech Holding as a Cloud Practice Lead to spearhead and expand our cloud services. Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 cloud architects, engineers, and consultants. Develop and implement comprehensive cloud strategies, ensuring successful project delivery primarily on AWS and Azure platforms. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing pre-sales support and technical expertise. Oversee practice revenue, expenses, and profitability, driving practice growth through new business development. Requirements

  • AWS and Azure experience (required)
  • Previous experience leading cloud teams
  • Strong leadership, architecture, and delivery experience in cloud solutions

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead a team of 8–10 cloud architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture through mentorship, hiring, and leadership
  • Maintain oversight of practice revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Serve as the face of the cloud practice in internal leadership meetings and external client engagements
  • Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with business goals and industry best practices
  • Drive practice growth through new business development, innovative solutions, and client retention strategies
  • Represent the cloud practice at internal leadership forums and external industry events
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions, primarily on AWS and Azure
  • Apply deep knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance
  • Leverage AWS and Azure partner programs, including CSP marketplaces, to sell and manage cloud services and software
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored cloud solutions
  • Provide pre-sales and consulting support, including technical expertise, solution presentations, and statements of work
  • Support sales teams with solution architecture and customer-facing engagements
  • Recruit, train, and manage cloud practice team members
  • Provide coaching and ensure the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed
  • Collaborate with trusted partners and consultants to augment internal capabilities
  • Oversee and optimize cloud revenue and expenses to maximize profitability
  • Drive the growth of the cloud practice by identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCP experience
  • Previous experience building/leading a cloud practice (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with CSP MAP programs
