Summary
Join Rackspace Technology as a Cloud Security Engineer IV and be responsible for planning and executing the security solution strategy using Prisma Cloud. You will implement the organization's cloud security strategy, support cloud security implementation, and work with stakeholders to evaluate cloud systems. Adherence to company security policies and procedures is crucial. You will administer security platforms, provide reporting, manage configurations, and tune platform rules and alerts. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field. Additional experience may substitute
- 7 or more years of related experience
- Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or other CSPM platform(s)
- Familiarity with container technologies (I.E. Kubernetes) and container security
- Knowledge of Application Security (Attacks, Defense, Detection, Countermeasures)
- Knowledge and Experience with APIs
- Knowledge of SIEM engineering
- Knowledge of OS exploits, malware, ransomware, and their defenses
- Knowledge of multi-cloud security architecture, design, and implementation
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management
Responsibilities
- Implement organization's cloud security strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud security architecture
- Support development and execution of cloud security implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure
- Work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions
- Adhere to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed
- Administer the CSPM, DSPM, and Identity Management Platform
- Provide Reporting to internal and external customers
- Manage Configuration Settings of the platform based on customer requirements
- Tune CSPM Platform Rules and Alerts
- Create, Update, and Decommission Documentation for Internal and External Customers
- Configure and Maintain integrations with other platforms
- Coordinate with Internal and External customers to provide security data
- Provide Support and assistance to internal and external customers leveraging platforms

- The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $116,100 - $170-280
- The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $123,600 - $181,280
- The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $135,300 - $198,440
- Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments
