Remote Cloudflare Engineer

Summary

True Zero Technologies is seeking a Cloudflare Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloudflare solutions across the company's infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 2+ years of experience in Cloudflare administration and optimization, strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and web technologies, experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional qualifications that are beneficial but not mandatory include Cloudflare certification, experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, and experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Cloudflare services such as CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, and DNS
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps team, and security team to ensure Cloudflare services are integrated and optimized for performance and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cloudflare services
• Monitor and analyze Cloudflare logs and metrics to identify and address performance and security issues
• Participate in the implementation of security controls such as SSL/TLS, firewall rules, and access controls
• Maintain and update documentation related to Cloudflare services

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloudflare certification
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
