Collections Representative

Summary

Join RT² as a Collections Representative in our dynamic work environment. This full-time, permanent position involves making collections attempts to recover debts, answering incoming calls, and resolving issues using various systems. The role requires open availability due to business needs, with hours ranging from 7am-8pm EST Monday-Friday and 8:30am-5pm EST on Saturdays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of collections or accounting experience
• 1+ years of general ledger experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience with ERP (Dynamics, Oracle, etc.)
• General understanding of GAAP

Responsibilities

• Reviews chargeback/debit returns information from Daily Returns report for assigned territory
• Initiates appropriate action based on outstanding customer balances including placing collection calls to customers and performing related follow up activities
• Answers incoming calls from dealers, other clients, and sales
• Reviews and responds to all Debit Info inquiries
• Resolves and researches issues on a timely basis using various systems and other tools
• Identifies payments received in Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase, applies the payment to the proper dealer accounts and sends Payment Confirmations to appropriate internal staff and sales force
• Adjusts the dealer’s status in the control system
• Initiates and maintains harmonious relationships with customers, field and headquarters personnel, credit and collection agency and others whose working relationships and concerns are essential in achieving the credit and collections department goals
• Completes and submits an excel for Dealer and Master Agent refunds and/or re-debits
• Processes the Master Agent Commission payments or other business tasks
• Researches RMA Purchase Order details for Marketplace returns
• Provides payment details for Supplier’s upon request
• Verifies payments and apply to Pre-paid Dealer accounts
• Performs other responsibilities as needed
