Join Soda as a Community Intern and contribute to the growth and engagement of our open-source data engineering and machine learning communities. You will collaborate with various teams, including Growth, Product, and Sales, to support community programs, amplify community-led contributions, and drive engagement across multiple channels. This is a high-energy, creative role with potential for growth into a full-time position. The internship offers a chance to make meaningful contributions during Soda's Launch Week, showcasing new features daily. Requirements
- Ruthless attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high responsiveness
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
- Fast learner, quick to pick up new tools and workflows
- Proactive and independent, not afraid to push back when needed
Responsibilities
- Interact with users on Slack, GitHub, Discord, and LinkedIn
- Moderate discussions, triage questions, and share new use cases
- Identify and support community champions and contributors
- Write short-form content like tips, tutorials, and release updates to docs
- Record and share βhow-toβ snippets and product walkthroughs
- Help organize and promote community webinars, AMAs, and meetups
- Coordinate user story collection and spotlight campaigns
- Assist with ambassador and contributor programs
Preferred Qualifications
- STEM or engineering background, or interest in AI/data
- Prior startup, tech sales, or fast-paced work experience
- Business, economics, or related academic background
