Conference Producer

Summary

Join Opal Group, a leading organizer of premier live conferences for top executives, as a Conference Producer. You will coordinate and manage all aspects of events, from researching and creating new conference topics to recruiting speakers and developing marketing strategies. This remote, full-time international consultant position requires planning and executing the entire event lifecycle for finance events. You will also support audience development efforts, aiming for a minimum of 10 delegate sign-ups per assignment. The role demands strong communication, networking, and sales skills, along with experience in conference production or related fields. A Bachelor's degree and a tourist visa are required.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree
• Have 1-2 years of conference production experience or related experience in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or Sales
• Have Sales experience
• Have Client relations experience
• Have Excellent networking and information gathering abilities
• Have Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Be Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Have Strong attention to detail
• Have Superior Writing skills
• Have Leadership ability in an entrepreneurial setting
• Have Creativity, resourcefulness, and an innovative approach
• Have a tourist Visa, as some travel will be required (5 to 10% of the position)

Responsibilities

• Conduct and research potential attendees and speakers in a target market to develop conference agendas
• Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers and attendees for conferences
• Establish relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives, and media within relevant vertical markets
• Utilize excellent written and oral communications in English to differentiate our events from competitor conferences
• Be an expert in Opal's Value in order to proactively identify, engage, and cultivate new and expanded audiences
• Successfully promote Opal's initiatives through positive interactions with C-Level
• Maintain and administer a pipeline of prospects in our CRM in order to achieve sales
• Ensure that clients/prospects receive the highest level of customer
