Summary

Join a fast-growing international consulting firm as a Consolidation Accountant. This role focuses on the financial consolidation process for multiple construction entities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. You will craft and review financial statements, manage intercompany transactions, and utilize financial ERP systems. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in financial consolidation within the construction industry, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and construction accounting principles, and advanced skills in financial reporting tools. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven expertise in financial consolidation, ideally within the dynamic construction industry
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and construction accounting principles, including percentage of completion, WIP reporting, and job costing
  • Practical, hands-on experience with leading financial ERP systems like DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, or Tagetik
  • Advanced skills in financial reporting tools
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to connect seamlessly with global teams

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the financial consolidation process for multiple entities in the construction sector, ensuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Craft and review consolidated financial statements with precision, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Lead the management of intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and variance analysis to keep everything aligned and transparent
  • Leverage cutting-edge financial software and ERP systems like DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, Tagetik, or similar to streamline reporting and consolidation
  • Drive seamless month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial reports
  • Partner with finance teams and external auditors to meet financial regulations and reporting standards with confidence
  • Bring fresh insights to the table and recommend ways to optimize and improve financial consolidation processes
