The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in financial consolidation within the construction industry, in-depth knowledge of relevant accounting principles, and proficiency in financial ERP systems and Excel. Requirements

  • Over 5 years of expertise in financial consolidation, with a strong focus on the construction industry
  • In-depth knowledge of HGB, German tax regulations, IFRS, and specialized construction accounting principles
  • Proven hands-on experience with top financial ERP systems such as DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, Tagetik, and others
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and skilled in using financial reporting tools
  • Skilled at analyzing complex financial data and turning it into actionable, strategic insights
  • Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (B2/C1)

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the financial consolidation of multiple entities in the construction sector, ensuring full compliance with HGB, IFRS, and German tax regulations
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant consolidated financial statements to support strategic decision-making
  • Streamline intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and variance analysis to drive financial clarity and precision
  • Leverage advanced financial software and ERP systems like DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, Tagetik, and others to optimize consolidation and reporting workflows
  • Partner closely with internal finance teams and auditors to ensure seamless and transparent financial reporting processes
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial consolidation, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous process improvement
