Consolidation & International Accounting Manager

Summary

Join Toast as their Consolidation and International Accounting Manager, leading the global consolidation process for financial close activities. Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Coordinate with regional and functional finance teams, manage inter-company eliminations, and foreign currency translation. Oversee the foreign statutory financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational accounting expertise and excellent collaboration and communication skills. This role requires managing the consolidated financial close, preparing internal management reports, and taking ownership of the company's group consolidations and accounting processes. Project management of international statutory financial reporting is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant progressive accounting experience preferably with a combination of public accounting experiences and in-house operational experiences
• Operational accounting experience
• NetSuite experience
• Global and public company experience
• Strong ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively to proactively identify accounting impacts and drive solutions
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Manages the consolidated financial close, special transactions, local currency and functional currency accounting processes
• Prepares and reviews internal management reports and variance analysis
• Takes ownership of the Company’s Group Consolidations and accounting processes, key SOX controls and policy manual
• Responsible for evaluating the Company’s foreign exchange exposure and implementing the necessary accounting procedures and controls
• Project manages international statutory financial reporting for non-US entities and collaborates with key stakeholders
• Works cross functionally with Finance/forecast teams, revenue teams, business technology/system teams, internal and external auditors

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA
• Experience with multiple ERP systems, Blackline / FloQast, etc
