Requirements

  • Knowledge of commercial lending practices and procedures
  • Detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize and support various activities simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, including by demonstrating excellent time management, organization, and planning skills
  • Strong technical skills - including but not limited to Microsoft Office, internet, Salesforce
  • Adaptability to meet changing department priorities while remaining attentive to daily demands
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of construction loans in various loan stages
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of project sources and uses, construction budgets, architectural plan & site plan review and financial information during underwriting
  • Present analysis to managers and Loan Committee for final decision
  • Review all construction loan documentation in preparation for loan closings
  • Order and review construction project progress inspections and reconciling construction budget
  • Administer construction draws for the duration of the construction project
  • Proactively monitor assigned construction portfolio project status
  • Maintain strong working relationship with borrower and general contractor
  • Ability to maintain a great attitude and professional disposition with both internal and external parties, especially while handling deadlines, delays, and setbacks
  • Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
