Construction Project Manager

Summary

Join Insomnia Cookies, a rapidly growing and nationally recognized bakery company, as a Construction Project Manager in our Development team. This is a remote opportunity, but must sit on the West Coast near a major airport.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management on multiple projects
• At least 2+ years of retail, restaurant or hotel design and/or construction project management experience
• Working knowledge of processes and procedures for construction administration
• Experience in commercial construction in the capacity of an Owner's representative
• B.S./B.A. in Architecture/Construction Management, or other degree with equivalent experience is desired

Responsibilities

• Manage the turnover process of new and remodeled stores from Construction to Operations
• Review Contract Documents for accuracy and adherence to concept standards
• Manage bid process for general contractors
• Supervise general contractors and all direct Insomnia Cookies vendors
• Support the Technical Specialist and Permit Specialist with building permit approval and construction document content
• Manage interaction with landlord and/or landlord’s representative
• Work with new store coordinator on equipment requisition and delivery and store set-up schedules
• Ensure compliance to all applicable building codes and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
