Summary

Join Hakkoda, an IBM Company, as an Analytic Engineer and play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data infrastructure for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based data architecture. Implement best practices in data modeling, data integration, pipeline development, and performance optimization. You will help clients uncover trends, solve business problems, and make informed decisions by delivering clear, impactful analyses and visualizations. This role requires strong technical skills in cloud data platforms, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other related field with strong quantitative focus
  • 3+yrs in related technical roles with experience in data management, database development, BI, ETL, and/or data analysis domain
  • Good understanding of data prep, Dashboards, analytics and visualization tools like R, Python, Power BI and Tableau
  • SQL scripting experience
  • Understanding data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes and big data concepts
  • Ability to prepare reports and present to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills including assertiveness and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to support and work with cross-functional and agile teams in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced English required
  • Consulting experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data infrastructure that supports advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions for our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, analytic engineers, and business stakeholders—to understand data requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based data architecture
  • Implement best practices in data modeling, data integration, pipeline development, and performance optimization
  • Help our clients uncover trends, solve business problems, and make informed decisions by delivering clear, impactful analyses and visualizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Python and cloud infrastructure is a plus
  • Knowledge of any of the following tools is also a plus: Snowflake, Sigma, Looker, DBT, Matillion
