Requirements

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools
• Creative and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Ability to travel to different Magnolia Bakery locations across New York City
• Passion for the bakery industry and interest in food marketing
• Bachelor's degree (or working towards degree) in marketing, communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content ideas and campaigns that align with our brand messaging and goals
• Write engaging and informative copy for social media
• Create engaging video and imagery for social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok
• Conduct research to gather information for content creation
• Assist with the organization and management of marketing assets, including photos, videos, and copy
• Manage Magnolia Bakery’s network of influencers and organize regular product seeding to support business goals, conducting outreach to secure coverage of Magnolia Bakery’s products and managing the packaging and distribution of samples
• Work with Magnolia Bakery retail stores to secure product samples for content or creators
