Join Karat's Content team as a Content Development Engineer and contribute to creating high-quality technical interview questions used globally. You will leverage your engineering expertise and modern technologies, including generative AI, to author and refine interview content. Collaborate with peers through reviews and feedback integration to maintain consistent standards. This role requires 1+ years of post-academic software engineering experience, remote collaboration skills, and fluent English communication. The position is based in India with core working hours predominantly in IST, although onboarding may involve alignment with US hours. Requirements
- 1+ years of post-academic experience as a software engineer, with demonstrated ability to program in a common programming language
- Experience working remotely with global teams
- Fluent, concise English communication skills (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality technical interview questions to assess candidate technical abilities across various roles (data science, software engineering, etc.) globally
- Uphold Karatโs interview content standards through peer reviews and feedback integration
- Use your engineering knowledge to produce high-quality interview content, meeting provided stakeholder specifications and Karat standards
- Author new technical interview questions in a variety of subject domains, leveraging modern technology, including generative AI
- Complete peer reviews of content developments, ensuring all content is at a consistent standard
- Integrate feedback and iterate on content based on performance data and feedback from the Content Corrections team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI/ChatGPT
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience operating independently with high-output and strict deadlines
- Project, product, or program management experience
- High-growth, quick change startup experience
