Requirements

• Bring at least five years of experience as a Technical Writer, Developer Experience/Advocate Engineer, or related role, with a proven track record of creating impactful content
• Have web development experience
• Know frontend tools such as TypeScript, Next.js, and Vercel
• Excel in communication and collaboration, thriving in a team environment and contributing to a positive workplace
• Quickly adapt to new domains, learning and articulating complex concepts into clear, comprehensive content
• Prefer working in a fast-pace, agile environment with a “get it done” mentality
• Have outstanding project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Focus on putting the reader first, ensuring content is accessible and engaging

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit compelling technical content, focusing on Vercel’s features and frameworks
• Act as customer zero, ensuring our content meets the reader’s needs and enhances their understanding our products and position in the industry
• Keep up-to-date with our products, industry trends, and the needs of our users to ensure the creation of relevant and effective content
• Review and refine content and code examples for clarity and accuracy
• Manage your projects in coordination with the Marketing team, adhering to deadlines and contributing to our content strategy
• Embrace new products and processes, sharing knowledge, and driving content quality and innovation
• Report to our Director of Content
