Summary

Join our client, a leading venture capital firm, as a Content Writer for a 3-month contract (10-15 hours/week, $65-75/hr remotely). Create compelling thought leadership content targeting SMB owners, founders, and executives in various industries. You will interview subject matter experts, develop content strategies, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience in content writing, specifically within the tech, SaaS, and AI-first venture capital space, with a deep understanding of SMBs. Experience with Hubspot is a plus. The role requires strong interviewing, research, and writing skills, translating complex technical concepts into accessible content.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional content writing experience
• Venture Capital experience in tech, SaaS, and AI-first spaces
• Deep understanding of SMB executives, owners, and investors
• Experience using Hubspot
• Technology writing background with focus on SaaS and AI-first solutions
• Strong interviewing and research skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content

Responsibilities

• Interview subject matter experts to gather insights and technical knowledge
• Create thought leadership content including white papers, blog posts, and articles
• Research and ideate original content concepts targeting our core audience
• Develop content strategies that engage SMB owners, founders, and potential executives
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on content initiatives
• Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all content

Preferred Qualifications

Industry expertise in Construction, eCommerce, Retail, Manufacturing, or Hospitality sectors would be a great bonus
