Contributing Faculty, Mental Health Counseling

Summary

Join Walden University as a Contributing Faculty Member for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and teach students in their role as mental health counselors, with opportunities to complete training in dissertation chairing and service.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Counseling or Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program at an accredited institution
• Current state licensure as a mental health professional
• Minimum of three years of experience teaching and mentoring Master's and/or Doctoral level students, including directing thesis/dissertation research preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in their role as mental health counselors
• Complete training in dissertation chairing and service
• Mentor students in the research process and provide leadership and support in program assessment
• Provide feedback and grades to students through Canvas
• Publish availability to students through course syllabi

Benefits

• Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester
• Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter
