Summary
Join Trafilea as a Copywriting Expert and craft persuasive, data-informed messaging for Arabic-speaking markets, particularly in the Gulf region. You will focus on the Kenz brand, creating compelling copy for various formats, including ad creatives, landing pages, and social media. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaigns from ideation to execution, using performance data to iterate and improve results. Responsibilities include writing, building briefs, interpreting data, and adapting messaging to resonate with cultural nuances. Your strategic thinking and storytelling abilities will be key to Kenz's growth and Trafilea's expansion in the MENA region. This role requires a deep understanding of Arabic dialects and digital marketing.
Requirements
- Native Arabic speaker, with a preference for Gulf dialect fluency. Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required
- Over 5 years of experience in direct response copywriting, ideally in e-commerce, DTC, or performance marketing environments
- At least 2 years of strategic experience: briefing creatives, analyzing performance data, or owning messaging strategy
- Excellent understanding of platform-native content and how to tailor copy for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid channels
- Strong grasp of performance metrics, A/B testing principles, and the ability to act on data insights
- Comfortable adapting brand tone and messaging to reflect cultural nuances in Arabic-speaking markets
- Strong skills in project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday
- Highly collaborative, fast-paced, and proactive—with the ability to work cross-functionally and take initiative
Responsibilities
- Write compelling, direct-response copy in native Arabic (Saudi dialect preferred) across a wide range of formats—including ad creatives, landing pages, video scripts, emails, funnels, and social media captions for images and reels across platforms
- Translate business goals and data insights into sharp, engaging, and emotionally resonant messaging strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisition, Creative, and Research teams to co-own campaign development and ensure alignment between messaging, visuals, and objectives
- Create briefs for creative assets and develop strategic hypotheses based on performance insights and audience analysis
- Use platform metrics to analyze what’s working and iterate quickly to improve results—your writing will be backed by numbers
- Continuously research and refine persona understanding for Arabic-speaking audiences to inform tone, voice, and conversion triggers
- Develop native communication strategies aligned with platform expectations across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and others
- Integrate AI tools into your workflow to generate copy variations, test new angles, and combat creative fatigue
- Manage projects through tools like Asana, ensuring timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and strategic coherence
- Participate in briefing and content direction, ensuring outputs remain aligned with the performance strategy and brand tone
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using AI writing tools, knowledge of buyer psychology in the MENA region, or localization expertise across Arabic dialects
