Corporate Accounting Specialist

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and on time
• Set up and maintain project billing details, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and accounting policies
• Perform daily accounting tasks, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary billing and project setup information
• Address and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing and accounting activities
• Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support to the finance team as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with project-based billing systems or accounting software is a plus
• Knowledge of Unanet GovCon is considered a plus
• Knowledge of Unanet is a plus
