Corporate Development Associate

Summary

onX is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Associate to support strategic initiatives and acquisitions. The role requires financial analysis, due diligence, industry research, and collaboration with senior executives. Candidates should have relevant work experience, a bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel quarterly.

Requirements

• Three (3) or more years of relevant work experience, ideally in investment banking, consulting, M&A, corporate development, strategic finance, tech or a related field
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, economics, computer science, or related discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and due diligence for potential transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and investments
• Analyze financial statements, historical performance, and projections to assess the financial health and viability of target companies
• Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate the potential value and return on investment of various transaction scenarios
• Prepare and present transaction-related documentation, including offering memorandums, pitch decks, and financial presentations
• Perform extensive industry and market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact potential transactions
• Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives with onX's corporate goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating forecasts, forward-looking financial models, or similar
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including familiarity with conducting due diligence and analyzing business performance metrics
• Domain experience within the Consumer Subscription Software (CSS) space
