Summary

Join Navan's Travel Experience team and contribute to seamless and empowering travel experiences for users. As a key member, you will directly support user travel needs, resolving issues, communicating effectively, and collaborating with internal teams. You'll provide valuable feedback to improve internal and customer-facing platforms. This role offers the opportunity to impact daily operations, traveler experiences, and product development. The position is open for future opportunities, allowing for a streamlined hiring process. Candidates must reside in Portugal and submit applications in English.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a travel consultant covering flight, train, and hotel bookings
  • 2+ years of experience with GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level travel support through chat, calls, and emails
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of suppliers, destinations, and systems
  • Quickly assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences
  • Accurately manage hotel, flight, car, and train bookings
  • Guide customers on self-service options of the Navan platform and app
  • Respond promptly, meeting SLA expectations
  • Follow company and client policies, ensuring global compliance
  • Provide feedback to stakeholders on the progress of objectives and key processes
  • Participate in team meetings on products, suppliers, and industry updates
  • Stay up-to-date with travel industry best practices
  • Maintain attendance, complete assigned training, and meet performance indicators

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in contact centers or customer service roles
  • Comfortable using tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m
  • Ability to multitask, quickly resolve urgent issues, and work independently to troubleshoot problems
  • Empathetic, professional, and excellent verbal and written communicator
