Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant: ACCA/CPA or local equivalent is mandatory
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as an accountant in high-tech companies, with a robust understanding of financial management and compliance
  • Knowledge of Lease accounting and Inventory essential
  • Global Exposure: Significant experience working in a global environment, understanding diverse financial regulations and practices
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and office skills are essential for data analysis and reporting
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously, and a detail-oriented, a problem-solving mindset is a must
  • Team Player: Service-oriented approach, collaborating seamlessly within a team to achieve collective goals

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop all financial activities for entities in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards
  • Manage local accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end close processes
  • A strong focus on lease and inventory accounting
  • Prepare and manage ledger entries for payroll, tax benefits, and contributions as well as reporting for regulatory bodies such as social security tax authorities, insurance, pension companies and others
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including social security authorities, insurance providers, pension companies, and other regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany, banking, customers, vendors and accruals
  • Place a significant focus on leases, inventory, and VAT reconciliations to maintain compliance and accuracy
  • Monitor day-to-day transactions, maintain up-to-date books, and prepare comprehensive financial and administrative reports as required
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities (VAT, CIT, Social Security & others)
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations made by Payroll Manager
  • Address and resolve payroll-related issues, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation
  • Manage regional audits, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit requests and implementation of recommendations
  • Work closely with AP, Business Control, and Procurement teams, serving as a key individual within the finance department

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of working in a Regulated Company is highly desirable
