Summary

Join Octave, a modern behavioral health practice, as a Licensed Clinician providing high-quality care to adult clients virtually and in-person. You will utilize evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT, building strong therapeutic alliances and delivering culturally responsive care. This role requires a New York license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMHC, or PsyD), at least one year of post-license experience, and your own office space for in-person sessions. Octave offers competitive hourly rates based on licensure and experience, with opportunities to build a flexible caseload. We are seeking passionate clinicians committed to expanding access to mental health care and thriving in a collaborative, feedback-rich environment.

Requirements

  • Hold a current LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMHC, or PsyD license in New York
  • Be well-versed in evidence-based therapies, like CBT or DBT
  • Be expert in the delivery of culturally responsive care
  • Possess a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling
  • Be licensed and in good standing with your governing licensing board
  • Have at least 1 year of related post-license clinical experience
  • Have your own office space and be willing to provide in-person services
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality behavioral health care to clients
  • Provide therapy in a collaborative, client-centered environment
  • Treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies
  • Build out a caseload that gives your clients the option to see you virtually or in-person
  • See in-person clients from a commercial office setting
  • Deliver feedback-informed care using standardized measures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have training in EFT and/or Gottman method
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in CBT for depression or anxiety, DBT for emotion dysregulation, Unified Protocol for emotional distress, CPT or PE for trauma

Benefits

  • $119-$135/hour for master's level license (in-person)
  • $119-$145/hour for doctoral level license (in-person)
  • $116-$130 for master's level license (virtual)
  • $116-$140 for doctoral level license (virtual)
