Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media design, content creation, or similar roles, preferably within the personal care, beauty, or lifestyle industries
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and other relevant design/video editing tools
- Strong understanding of organic and paid social media platforms and content best practices, especially for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Proven experience creating high-performing direct-response videos and static ads for paid social
- Familiarity with photography and videography principles, lighting, and editing for social media
- Ability to balance creativity with performance metrics and business goals
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design and produce eye-catching static imagery and engaging video content for organic and paid social media campaigns
- Develop creative content that tells our brand stories and resonates with our audience in the personal care and grooming sectors
- Ensure all creative assets are aligned with brand guidelines and are optimized for each social media platformβs format and audience
- Conceptualize and edit short-form videos optimized for social channels, focusing on social-first video content like reels, stories, and TikTok videos
- Work closely with the VP of Marketing and paid and channel managers to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing goals and strategies
- Stay current with social media trends, emerging platforms, and new formats to innovate and continually bring fresh ideas to our campaigns
- Analyze performance metrics and refine creative content based on insights to maximize engagement and ROI
