Summary

Join Airbnb's Creative Team as a Creative Director, Art, leading integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You will build and manage a team of creatives, collaborating with brand management and other partners. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience in creative direction, a strong portfolio showcasing lifestyle brand campaigns, and exceptional conceptual and communication skills. This US-based remote-eligible position requires a current portfolio. Compensation includes a base pay range of $208,000–$260,000 USD, plus potential bonus, equity, benefits, and employee travel credits.

Requirements

  • 12+ years creative direction experience, preferably a mix of creative studio experience and leading in-house teams at global brands
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating best-in-class campaign work for lifestyle brands
  • Strong conceptual and brainstorming skills, leading and participating whenever needed
  • Experience inspiring creative teams and production partners with a strong vision and empowering individuals to achieve their best work
  • Experience collaborating closely with Brand Management teams. Ability to translate market research, data, and strategy to creative solutions
  • Flexible and dependable
  • Incredible organization, communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Empathy for the customer, and empathy for individuals on a creative team

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution, with a particular focus on Art Direction, and understanding principles of design deeply
  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and other partners within Airbnb
  • Think strategically and proactively solve problems, all while meeting tight production deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Leadership, Production Leads, Marketing Leadership, and Program Managers to create innovative advertising concepts in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Create best-in-class creative brand campaigns, from concept thru production
  • Find joy in the journey by being able to generate a wide range of highly strategic and creative concepts, consistently
  • Foster a respectful, collaborative, and productive environment, where egos are checked at the door
  • Foster positive relationships among the internal brand teams, the creative department, and our cross functional partners. Provide critical creative thinking and critiques to help shape best-in-class work
