Summary

Join our team as a Creative Video Editor and produce high-volume, performance-driven video ads for Meta and TikTok. You will edit 200+ short-form ads monthly, repurposing content and iterating based on performance data. This role requires strong video editing skills, experience with performance marketing, and proficiency in editing software. The ideal candidate is fast, organized, and obsessed with output, with a proven ability to create high-quality ads that convert. You will collaborate closely with the media buyer and creative strategist, contributing to brainstorming sessions and providing feedback. This is a full-time, remote position.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of video editing experience, preferably in performance marketing or UGC-based content
  • Proven ability to produce high volumes of short-form content (ideally 150–200+ per month)
  • Solid portfolio of direct-response ads or social media video content for platforms like Meta and TikTok
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of creative testing β€” especially around hooks, CTAs, product highlights, and pain points
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Comfort with fast-paced environments and shifting creative priorities
  • Ability to interpret performance data and optimize creatives accordingly

Responsibilities

  • Edit 40+ short-form ads weekly (approx. 200/month) using UGC, testimonials, founder videos, etc
  • Repurpose and iterate creatives based on hooks, CTAs, pain points, and product features
  • Create platform-native ads with fast cuts, native captions, transitions, memes, synced audio, etc
  • Design edits with a performance-first mindset (lower CAC, higher ROAS, faster testing)
  • Brainstorm angles and hooks with our strategist/media team
  • Test different opening variations, video structures, and CTAs
  • Build off proven ad formats or trending creative concepts
  • Build a modular editing system (e.g., interchangeable hooks/intros) for scalable production
  • Maintain an organized project flow and editing library for quick access and versioning
  • Review performance feedback (e.g., watch time, CTR, ROAS) provided by the media buying team
  • Iterate based on data β€” improve, refine, and outperform best-performing ads
  • Join occasional client calls to pitch fresh cuts or ad ideas
  • Work closely with the media buyer and creative strategist
  • Participate in quick alignment calls and brainstorming sessions
  • Provide feedback on briefs or raw asset quality when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with DTC brands, content vault systems, or using AI tools to boost output
  • Have experience working with DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brands
  • Built or managed a content vault of UGC assets
  • Have an eye for meme-style content, lo-fi trends, and narrative voiceovers
  • Can write creative scripts or briefs when needed
