Summary

Join Rula, a company dedicated to increasing access to mental healthcare, as a Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist. You will play a vital role in improving the provider experience by ensuring timely and accurate credentialing and enrollment. This involves scoping enrollment requirements for new payer implementations, submitting applications, and guiding providers through the process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support new payer launches, and educate colleagues on new processes. The position requires 2+ years of healthcare experience and proven collaboration skills. While fully remote, this position is not open to California or Washington residents. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or working with/for health insurance plans
  • Proven collaboration skills, partnering cross-functionally across teams to solve complex issues
  • Experience developing, documenting, and optimizing new processes into easy to understand documentation
  • Proficiency with operating and learning new tools/software (Excel/GSheets, Salesforce, Zendesk, Airtable, Certify, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate credentialing and enrollment
  • Scope enrollment requirements for new payer implementations
  • Submit applications
  • Guide providers through each step of the credentialing and enrollment process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new payer launches
  • Share operational insights
  • Educate and support credentialing and enrollment associates on new processes and payers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience enrolling providers with regional or national payers (preferably behavioral health)
  • Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, CMS, & NCQA requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup or large, dynamic healthcare system
  • Experience working with a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO)
