Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Have proven experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or a similar role
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Be highly organized and able to assist brokers with client management
  • Have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Show high attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of businesses and individuals
  • Prepare detailed credit analysis reports, including financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and risk assessments
  • Develop comprehensive credit submission memos with recommendations for credit approval
  • Present findings and recommendations to commercial brokers and management
  • Work closely with commercial brokers to provide insights and support for credit applications
  • Communicate effectively with clients and brokers to gather necessary information and clarify credit worthiness
  • Assist commercial brokers with client management, primarily via email
  • Ensure timely follow-up on client inquiries and maintain organized records of client interactions
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis and lending
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit analyses and reports
  • Utilize financial modeling and data analysis tools to support credit evaluation processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have familiarity with the financial and business environment in Australia
  • Have experience working in Commercial Lending for Australian based businesses
  • Have experience with remote work tools and platforms
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
