Credit Strategy Analyst

As a Credit Strategy Analyst, you will utilize your business knowledge and technical skills to drive positive change within the company. You will be responsible for designing new credit strategies, partnering with cross-functional areas to implement innovative solutions, monitoring and maintaining KPI dashboards, presenting insights to leadership, and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or other related fields
• 3+ years of experience in a credit-related role
• Prior experience in financial services or Consumer/Commercial lending
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Technical experience in SQL, Python, or R and the ability to visualize data with PowerBI, Tableau or another tool
• Self-starter, autonomous, and able to work independently to get what is asked done

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of analytics experts to provide recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience
• Design new credit strategies that optimize the underwriting process of BHG Financial’s loan products
• Partner with cross-functional areas to develop and implement innovative solutions in an efficient manner
• Monitor, enhance, and maintain KPI dashboards that provide insight into the performance of critical functions
• Present insights to leadership and stakeholders that communicate the value and impact in a clear and concise manner
• Handle multiple projects at once to ensure high-priority projects meet the projected deadlines
