Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or post-sales solutions architecture
- Proven expertise deploying technical solutions into complex environments, such as SaaS based cybersecurity products
- Strong understanding of identity, network, and security architectures
- Experience with privileged access management (PAM), authentication, authorization, SASE, and Zero Trust concepts
- Hands-on experience with the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business objectives into technical outcomes and vice versa
- Comfortable operating in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction comes first
Responsibilities
- Architecture and Solution Design: Design robust, scalable deployment architectures for the deployment of StrongDM that align with customer environments and business goals. Lead architecture planning that considers security, resilience, and future growth
- Lead Deployments: Own the technical post-sales relationship. Guide customers through hands-on deployment, including configuration, integration, and rollout. Collaborate with our CSM partner and Project Manager where applicable
- Develop Best Practices: Serve as a subject matter expert, bringing in industry and StrongDM-specific best practices around privileged access, identity, Zero Trust initiatives
- Problem Solving: Triage complex technical issues, working across customer environments, cloud platforms, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution in collaboration with with the StrongDM Support, Product and Engineering teams
- Be Consultative: Provide consultative guidance, educate customer teams, and ensure they’re equipped to manage their StrongDM environment independently
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Support. Influence roadmap by synthesizing product gaps, deployment feedback, technical pain points to the Product teams
- Documentation: Partner with the Product, Technical Enablement teams to build, update authoritative and prescriptive guidance (i.e. Reference architecture and deployment guides, enablement content)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and familiarity with StrongDM or similar products (Teleport, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, etc.)
- Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)
- Experience with other technologies:SIEMs and secure logging workflows.SCIM, OIDC, SAML
