Summary

Join Purple Technology, a Czech FinTech outsourcing company, as a Customer Support Representative fluent in Japanese. This role focuses on providing customer support in a financial service, handling client inquiries via email and Japanese chat, and performing administrative tasks. You will communicate with clients, prepare detailed responses, process requests, report issues, work with trading platforms, transcribe Japanese names, and communicate internally. The ideal candidate is a native Japanese speaker (N1 level) with fluent English (B2 level), customer service experience, and the ability to work during JST or CET hours. Purple Technology partners with Fintokei, a company focused on connecting talented traders with substantial capital.

Requirements

  • Have experience with some form of customer service
  • Be a native Japanese speaker (N1 level) and fluent in English at a minimum B2 level
  • Be able to work either in Japan or Central Europe time zone with fixed working hours (9am - 5 pm)
  • Possess computer literacy and technical proficiency
  • Have a can-do attitude and proactivity
  • Be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and in a friendly, empathetic manner to both clients and colleagues
  • Be willing to educate oneself and increase knowledge about trading platforms
  • Have enthusiasm to join a remote team within a multicultural company

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients (via email, chat) and handle their inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Prepare detailed and content-rich responses
  • Process requests according to the relevant manual for the specific process
  • Report any issues and errors to the Team Leader or the relevant department
  • Work with trading platforms and simulate reported issues in the platform
  • Transcribe Japanese names into Latin characters
  • Communicate with relevant internal departments in the company (Slack, e-mail)
