Summary
Join BeyondTrust as a Customer Trust Manager and strengthen our Customer Trust program, supporting revenue-generating activities. This critical role bridges Sales, Product, and Technology teams, ensuring security and compliance align with industry standards and customer expectations. You will engage directly with customers, addressing security inquiries, managing assessments, and driving continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of Trust & Security, this position demands technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. You will build trust and enhance security and compliance initiatives, collaborating with various teams and influencing product roadmaps. This role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Have 8+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, or Compliance
- Possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, FedRAMP)
- Have experience in a SaaS organization managing customer security reviews and supporting enterprise sales processes
- Demonstrate familiarity with security certifications, principles, control implementation, and best practices
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills—able to translate complex security topics for non-technical audiences
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset
- Be able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Show proficiency with CRM tools, SaaS management, and governance platforms
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for security-related customer inquiries, including questionnaires, assessments, and audits
- Effectively communicate implemented security controls, compliance posture, and risk management approach to customers
- Develop external-facing resources such as white papers and due diligence documentation
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Security, Legal, and Product teams to support customer engagements
- Influence product roadmaps by analyzing customer security requirements and advocating for security enhancements
- Ensure alignment between customer security expectations and BeyondTrust’s security programs
- Monitor compliance with customer and partner contractual obligations
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry trends to provide strategic recommendations
- Assist with reviewing security-related clauses in customer and vendor contracts, as applicable
- Own and refine security review processes, tools, and documentation to improve efficiency
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track customer trust initiatives
- Manage security-related SaaS tools to streamline customer interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent security/compliance certifications
- Possess a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive initiatives independently
- Have a customer-centric mindset with a passion for building trust
- Possess a sense of humor and adaptability in a dynamic environment
