Summary

Join NBCUniversal as a Cyber Awareness Training Curriculum Lead to spearhead enterprise-wide cybersecurity education. This role involves designing and managing a multi-tiered Cyber Security Champion Program, developing engaging, role-based awareness content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive employee engagement, build a network of security advocates, and foster a strong cybersecurity culture. The position requires experience in cybersecurity awareness training, creating role-based learning paths, and managing multiple projects. Data analytics skills and familiarity with various tools and platforms are preferred. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cyber security awareness or training, preferably in a large enterprise environment
  • Must be conversant on cyber security awareness topics and technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Experience in creating and implementing role-based learning paths and awareness programs
  • Experience creating and running champion/advocacy programs at scale
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects supporting senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills; ability to develop high-quality, captivating presentations for various audiences
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills with demonstrated experience creating engaging and accessible cyber awareness materials
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to distill technical cyber security content into clear, actionable insights for general employees
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), phishing simulation platforms, and eLearning tools
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Efficiently use time with leadership to collect the intel required to craft the next step
  • Experience in leading lines of questioning for discovery
  • Comfortable driving actions and deadlines with leadership
  • Secure in raising concerns and flagging risks to project success
  • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the development of a comprehensive cyber security awareness curriculum tailored to various employee roles and risk profiles across the organization
  • Work with technology transition teams to translate complex cyber security and technical concepts into accessible, engaging content for non-technical audiences
  • Develop written materials, presentations, and multi-media training assets using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and eLearning platforms
  • Partner with security, IT, HR, compliance, and communications teams to align training initiatives with business needs and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gain buy-in and report on program impact
  • Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to measure training effectiveness, identify gaps, and inform continuous improvement
  • Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, trends, and learning methodologies to ensure content remains relevant and effective
  • Design and implement a multi-tiered Cyber Security Champion Program targeting different user groups based on roles and/or cyber risks
  • Recruit, train, and support a global network of cyber security champions across business units and/or technical user groups
  • Develop educational content, toolkits, and communication plans tailored to various audiences and role-based user profiles
  • Interlock the program with cyber security awareness campaigns, events, and activities
  • Monitor and report on the program's effectiveness, including KPIs and engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, HR, Communications, and business leaders to embed security into the culture of the NBCU enterprise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and human risk management is a plus
  • Experience using data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to assess training impact is a plus
  • Multi-media, storyboarding, and video creation are a plus
  • Strong graphic layout and design; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with ProofPoint, HubSpot, PowerApps, PowerBI, Vyond, and/or Camtasia is a plus
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or SANS Security Awareness Practitioner is a plus
