Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Possess an active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in various domains such as network security, application security, and cloud security
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies in complex environments
  • Extensive experience with security frameworks, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in security tools, techniques, and practices for threat detection and mitigation
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the network operates optimally
  • Conduct regular network upgrades and updates to enhance performance and security
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's network and data
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security
  • Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access levels
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures
  • Implement and manage network backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Set up network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address network performance issues
