Summary

The Cybersecurity Practice Lead is responsible for training and developing the Incident Response Team, leading the development of ideal cybersecurity postures for clients, managing ongoing cybersecurity advisory initiatives, identifying and remedying vulnerabilities, collaborating with client strategy teams, ensuring MCP program integrity, developing relationships with CTS cybersecurity vendors, and maintaining documentation. The role requires strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Cloud Services, collaboration services, security vendor evaluation and management, hands-on experience in building and deploying enterprise-scale security solutions, superior communication skills, detail-orientation, teamwork, and self-motivation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Cloud Services and Azure platform
  • Collaboration Services like Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Drive
  • Security Vendor evaluation and management
  • Hands-on and proven experience in building and deploying enterprise-scale security solutions
  • Experience with MSP/CSP systems such as ConnectWise, ITGlue, BrightGauge, etc
  • Superior consultation, organization, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented individual who is a team player and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Train the Incident Response Team on the CTS Cybersecurity Technical Stack and its deployment procedures
  • Lead the development of the ideal Cybersecurity posture for our clients
  • Develop (and continuously update/improve) a framework that balances security and cost-effectiveness that keeps our clients protected
  • Create Incident Response Plans for each Managed Cyber Program client of CTS
  • Manage ongoing cybersecurity advisory initiatives for clients, including the development of cybersecurity policies, management of ongoing client risk registers, and answering of cyber-related due diligence questionnaires
  • Identify and remedy vulnerabilities, provide threat modeling, and respond to security incident escalations
  • Work with the Client Strategy teams to provide feedback for security improvements for each client, participate in client QBR prep, and present these vulnerabilities and potential solutions in client meetings (strategic road mapping)
  • Work with the Project Engineering and Automation organization to review configurations of products in the CTS tech stack to ensure security best practices are being implemented
  • Document and continuously improve the CTS MCP Onboarding document
  • Ensure all contracted users are properly enrolled in MCP tools and develop a system to report deficiencies and a process to remedy issues
  • Report under or over-usage of tools to the Client Strategy team to ensure customer billing updates occur
  • Develop relationships with CTS cybersecurity vendors, ensure their best practices are implemented at CTS, and drive product enhancements and adoption across all CTS clients
  • Continuously evaluate current and new vendors to drive improvements in functionality, procedure, or cost
  • Support audits and (future) security certification work at CTS ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Work with Product Automation Team to develop dashboards for MCP clients that demonstrate the work we are completing for them (and that it is within promised SLAs), how well they are leveraging tools in the stack (security awareness training), etc
  • Translate data into actionable business insights and technical process Improvements
  • Work with colleagues across business functions to build up, refine, polish, and maintain a best-in-class documentation library of the cybersecurity tech stack, Product Guides, client systems documentation, and business process documentation across the firm

Benefits

  • This is a level five role with a range of $100,000 - $115,000
