Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information security, business, or related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) Certified Payments Professional) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, data protection, and privacy laws relevant to highly regulated industries
  • Proven track record of implementing robust payment-centric compliance programs and risk management processes in regulated industries
  • Experience managing payment operations and optimizing transaction processes
  • Deep knowledge of payment technologies, including payment gateways, card networks, point-of-sale hardware, card present transactions, card not present transactions, alternative payment methods and flows
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments of payment operations, identifying and mitigating compliance, fraud, and operational risks
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS, FINRA, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the InfoSec Team to support other data protection policies and support audit readiness
  • Provide training and education on payment-related regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and best practices to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization
