Data Aggregation & Curation Associate

Summary

The Data Aggregation & Curation Associate will work to ensure operational excellence for Lightcast by collecting, organizing, and maintaining data across various sources. This role supports the Engineering team in aggregating data from thousands of job boards, company websites, online resumes, employee profiles, and traditional government sources into one place.

Requirements

• Entry level Graduates with basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of scripting
• Attention to details and good interpersonal skills
• Should be able to work in a team across shifts

Responsibilities

• Quick analysis of web data and its structure to build new scrapers
• Troubleshoot existing web scraper to aggregate data from websites and APIs
• Demonstrate case studies
• Meet turnaround time, not to breach SLAs set up by internal/external customers
• Ensure quality of annotated data
• Follow the Agile methodology
• Report in JIRA and Confluence and wherever necessary on a daily basis
• Follow Individual and Team Goals to abide by Key Performance Indicators

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding with Excel is a plus
• Must be able to quickly understand and self-learn in an ever-changing environment
