Summary

The job is for an End-to-End Data Services Partner who will help clients realize the full value of their data by identifying trends, assuring data quality, designing databases, and more. The role requires a degree in relevant fields, at least 8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or BI Developer, technical expertise, strong analytical skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, and knowledge of Power BI.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or equivalent
  • Experience as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or BI Developer (at least 8 years)
  • Technical expertise regarding data analytics, database design, business intelligence design
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with BI reporting suites, sourcing data from various database engines, programming for analytics, and other components of the analytical environment
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and skills of applying statistical methods to solve data analytics problems in business scenarios
  • Requirements gathering and elicitation skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate across third parties, and technical and business managers on data understanding and building use cases
  • Fluent command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques
  • Assure data quality, consistency, and accuracy in unique analyses and ongoing reports
  • Design and support development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other processes that optimize the efficiency and quality of analytics and data science modeling
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and support maintenance of databases/data systems
  • Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to prioritize and refine information needs
  • Locate and define process improvement opportunities
  • Convey complex insights in an approachable manner fit for non-technical stakeholders
